Pintle-regulated Venturi Fuel Induction Systems

PRV-9 will be tested in a prototype vehicle during the spring of 2008.

Improved airflow facilitated by a common intake plenum is expected to deliver even greater horsepower and torque than previous prototypes. An improved Venturi and pintle design is anticipated to further improve fuel economy.

Finally, new exhaust treatment and stoichiometric engine operation will reduce NOx, CO and hydrocarbon tailpipe emissions.
